Amid the developing coronavirus situation, we know that everyone is on high alert at the moment due to the current situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) so we wanted to take the time to reassure you of the actions we are taking as responsible makeup and beauty educators at this time.
The health of both our students and our team members is our biggest priority. We are closely following the advice of Public Health England and the World Health Organisation and introducing a wide variety of measures to minimise the impact on public health.
We understand this situation is top of mind for all of us right now. As circumstances continue to change our goal is, and will continue to be, to provide a safe and welcoming destination for all students and team members.
At present, all current and future scheduled classes and sessions scheduled for March and April 2020 have been postponed. New dates will be advised privately to students that are affected. We will regularly review the situation and advise publicly when the academy studios will reopen in the future.
What are we doing in the meantime?
Very soon we will be announcing a range of Education Services that will be available to our current enrolled students and any future students. These will include online learning options via video conference, workshops and classes that are also online as well as downloadable.
Current and Future students will also gain access to a range of online/offline materials that students can work with from home to get any theory-based activities out of the way, so we can increase the practical and hands-on learning hours in the classroom once things return to normal.
What to do if you want to change your course/session start dates?
Our normal cancellations and rescheduling policy currently apply. All students can reschedule their course/session provided that the start date of your course/session is further than 4 weeks away with no exceptions.
What happens if my course/session is within 4 weeks away?
We have created an exceptional circumstances policy to cover our students who are being impacted by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We’re closely monitoring official guidance from the UK Government and the World Health Organisation in order to support the health and wellbeing of our learning community.
In relation to COVID-19, our exceptional circumstances policy applies to courses/sessions that MUST change or cancel:
– In order to comply with disease control restrictions implemented by relevant governmental or health authorities;
– In order to perform medical or disease control duties in connection with the COVID-19 outbreak;
– In the event that they are diagnosed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19 by a medical or health authority;
– In the event that they have a death of an immediate family member or guest.
When does this not apply?
Unfortunately, our exceptional circumstances policy does not cover changes or cancellations made by students who wish not to attend courses/sessions of their own volition.
If you are a student that is coming from overseas (outside of the UK) and have decided not to travel of your own volition or are unable to travel due to restrictions, you will not be eligible to claim a refund under our standard or exceptional circumstances policy, however, you might be able to claim on your travel insurance.

We offer a few different ways to purchase a course. All courses can be paid upfront or you could qualify for interest-free credit or finance with all options presented and available during the checkout process.

You can repay in full within 30 days at 0.0% interest, or choose an instalment plan to repay on a monthly basis. You can change your instalment plan at any time.

To qualify you must have…
- No CCJs within the last 3 years
- No accounts in default
- Be a UK resident
- Have online banking
- Have a regular source of income

4 Months Interest-free with PayPal Credit: 4 months interest free credit that can be used to pay for part of, or 100% of your course fee. (There is more detail information about PayPal Credit by clicking here) Approval is required via PayPal and can be processed online and approved via the Seventa Makeup Academy checkout. You can also apply for PayPal Credit to pre-approved credit before paying for your course.
The 20/80 Plan: Pay a 20% deposit and then pay the 80% balance 4 weeks before your scheduled course date. This enables you to reserve a course date by paying 20% deposit and the balance 4 weeks before your chosen course start date. For this option you will need to contact us to set this up, the 20/80 plan can not be done during the checkout process.
Our cancellation policy applies to all courses, services, masterclasses, classes and sessions. Once paid your course will be confirmed and no refunds can be issued. A change of dates may be requested by you with 4 weeks (Professional Courses) / 7 Days (Consumer Masterclasses) or more notice.
For courses where only a deposit (20% of the course fee) has been paid and you cancel (not change dates), the deposit is forfeited and is non-refundable.
Placement on courses, services, masterclasses, classes and sessions is subject to availability and we have the right to cancel or make changes to course dates without notice.
Most courses (refer to individual course pages) require a minimum of 2 students to be enrolled or the course may be rescheduled. Alternatively, students have the option to upgrade their course to a 1 to 1 Personalised Course (where available), with direct 1 to 1 attention with the tutor to proceed with the scheduled course dates.

All Professional Makeup Artistry Courses at Seventa Makeup Academy are in small groups. We want you to get the full experience and attention you need to excel on our courses, so we keep things small and intimate.
Our tutor to student ratio is 1:6; meaning a maximum of 6 students is accepted for enrolment on most courses. Exceptions apply to some courses, eg. Retail Makeup Artist with a tutor to student ratio of 1:10 (maximum of 10 students).
Most courses run with a maximum of 6 students at any one time, however this is subject to change depending on the type of course, its length and the level of direct tutor/teacher interaction required.
Most courses are also available as a 1 to 1 personalised course, with direct 1 to 1 attention with your tutor.
There are additional fees payable for 1 to 1 courses.
All 1 to 1 personalised courses follow the same learning & development plans as the regular classes.
On all Professional Makeup Artist Courses at Seventa Makeup Academy we will provide you with real life models to work on throughout your course.
We try to keep the range of models as diverse as possible to offer a wide variety of skin types and tones to work with to give you the confidence and skill to work with all skin types and tones.
We believe that you should learn and practice on all types of skin to further increase your learning and practical hours on your course instead of being a model for someone else on the class taking up valuable time from your course.
At Seventa Makeup Academy all products are provided for the student to use during their course in class, only professional brands are used. These products have exceptional quality, are hypo-allergenic to avoid or minimise any allergic reactions, are long-lasting, respectful and caring for the skin.
Seventa Makeup Academy provides Makeup Artistry Services and also many other creative professional services across the Beauty, Bridal, Fashion, Film and Music Industries through our creatives agency ‘Seventa Image Creatives Agency’. With our large contact base of freelance makeup artists at your disposal we can match you with a suitable professional for your occasion or event either in the fully equipped Seventa Makeup Academy Studio or we can also provide a full mobile service both throughout the UK and many international destinations. Contact us with your brief and we can provide professional makeup artists that are recognised as being leaders in the industry.
Yes, Seventa Makeup Academy does offer discounts on both products and courses.
Students are automatically registered on our Professional Makeup Artist Discount Program for 30% off the Ten Image Professional product range.
Discounts of 5% are offered on courses when booking additional future courses and a bigger discount of 10% is available when booking 2 or more courses together.
Our courses run at regular intervals throughout the year, please check our course schedules on the course page for more information about dates and times.
We are not an approved college or training provider for this type of funding, we are a private training academy, so you would not be able to use an advanced learner loan for our courses.
All fees payable and any additional expenses that may be required throughout the course are mentioned on course description pages on our website and no additional fees or expense are required to be paid.
Your course with us is only the beginning of your journey with Seventa Makeup Academy. After completing your course at Seventa Makeup Academy we invite all graduates to gain Work Experience working alongside Professional Makeup Artists on events and jobs provided through Seventa Image Creatives Agency. You will also gain access to Free Masterclasses, Micro Teaching Sessions and Workshops.
Graduates are invited to join the Seventa Image Creative Team on high profile events and productions throughout the year. We also regularly have international opportunities, so pack your bags and get ready to roll.
