ABOUT THIS COURSE
The aim of this course is to gain confidence in creating realistic camera-ready injuries with a variety of techniques and products. You will also learn how to apply and blend prosthetics to make them look real and understand the use of research techniques to expand your knowledge and application.
This course is designed to enhance basic skills in SFX Makeup. It is recommended that before taking this course that students have completed our Introduction to SFX Makeup Course or have a basic knowledge of SFX Applications of basic wounds, scars and burns.
This course is taught by industry experts to give you the best insight and practices of the techniques currently being used in top FX workshops.
After completing an SFX Makeup Course at Seventa Makeup Academy we will invite you to a work experience placement with our partners Exilian Studios.
Carving a real reputation for themselves, Exilian Studios provide quality character design and creation for the Film and TV industry. Credits include ITV, BBC, FOX, SKY, C4 and having the pleasure of working with stars like Ian McKellen, Amanda Donohoe and Samantha Bond.

Our cancellation policy applies to all courses. Once paid your course will be confirmed and no refunds can be issued. A change of dates may be requested by you by you with 4 weeks (Professional Courses) or more notice.
For courses where only a deposit (20% of the course fee) has been paid and you cancel (not change dates), the deposit is forfeited and is non-refundable.
Placement on a course or courses is subject to availability and we have the right to cancel or make changes to course dates without notice.
Most courses (refer to individual course pages) require a minimum of 2 students to be enrolled or the course may be rescheduled. Alternatively, students have the option to upgrade their course to a 1 to 1 Personalised Course (where available), with direct 1 to 1 attention with the tutor to proceed with the scheduled course dates.
